This is a completely unconventional recipe. It took me
years to work out the exact flavors but
it works consistently and I've never had anyone except non-meat eaters turn it down.
1 pot roast or 2 lbs beef stew meat
1/2 bottle red wine
1/4 to 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
1 onion sliced
Place in Crock pot for 6 to 8 hours
When done chill broth to remove fat.
The next day place broth in large stockpot and add vegetables
Add beef broth to cover and Italian seasoning
elbow macaroni (use the low carb stuff -- it holds up to freezing better than any other product)
and bring to boil. Put the meat back in a few minutes before done. Adjust seasoning. Serve
